Who doesn't expect Apple to have blow out earnings? But stock is under distribution, so sell at the open after earnings are announced.

I wish I had waited for 326 but glad I only bought half my position. I haven't a clue where the bottom is. This is an undervalued stock with an outrageous market cap.Its going down only because some funds own too much of it. But I don't think we're anywhere near a top.

Yesterday I stood in front of an Apple store and tried to understand what I was seeing. The place was mobbed and not just around the iPads. Old people, young people, mostly men but some women. I don't get it, but with Apple building a data center and Google screwing up the contact list on Droid phones, I don't see anything stopping Apple and it appears to be a global phenomena.

As expected, Apple reported blow out earnings after hours. However, earnings were exactly in line with my expectations and I will be selling at the open tomorrow, as I had originally planned. I know its counter intuitive, but as what happened to me on TEVA (which I still own), I am sick and tired of buying low, watching the stock surge after good news, only to see it pull back.

I was taught that buy and hold was the way to go and only a fool would trade, but it appears that I might be better at trading after all.

One of the advantages of trading is that you can cut your losses early, where-as in buy and hold my paper losses have been staggering.

Good morning, traders, it looks to be a good day. A note Larry on target dates... If you choose a trading day for your target date you'll get the close price. If you pick a non-trading day you'll get (approximately) the open price the next trading day.
