American Apparel makes all its clothes in the USA, bucking the temptation to use sweatshop labor, and it wears this fact on its lapel like a badge of honor.  So it should be no surprise that our caustic culture greets this kind of ethical business sense with a great big yawn.  Instead, we focus on the belief that their shady accountants may have engaged in some shady math, which we all know exists somewhere in virtually every public company's shady financials.

APP is not the only place you can buy clothes for the whole family for every occasion, every season, every size, and keep a clear conscience about it, but it is one of the very few.  It is sad that this stock is heading toward zero, so I am betting on a reversal with the new accountants.  Hopefully they stay in business, and if I am lucky, they will do it without reorganizing.  If you agree, then buy American Apparel products!
