I've followed this index for a while now, but  never gambled on it.  I don't feel like I know enough about Brazil.  Lots of oil, pretty stable geopolitically, a rising middle class.  It all sounds good.  At its peak this ETF was worth around $100.  It dropped down to about 30 in March, so it has seriously outpaced the broadest American market indicators,.

Compared to EEM, which is an ETF representing the MSCI Emerging Markets index, this ETF is right there with it.  Brazil could do better, or worse, than emerging markets in general.

I realize this article provides little 'meat' but that is okay.  Sometimes you buy on a hunch, and it's hard to really explain all that.
