Ford....we don't need your stinkin' money

Hopefully my huge gains since my initial purchase at $1.82 hasn't turned me into a fanboy, but I think that this stock has room to go up to 17. Not really on fundamentals, but on hype and good feelings. Not feeling so great on my time horizon pick here, and this may become a bit of a trader for me in a non-tax account depending on how it goes, but I think that this stock will visit 17. I'll probably sell at 16.98 though!

@Josh, dunno if you're being facetious, but I have a good portion of them, yes. Still got about 1/3 of the original purchase, which are "free" shares paid for (including taxes) with the profits on the 2008 purchase. Once in a while I like to do a little old-fashioned value investing.

The Focus, Fusion and Taurus are all money. Lets hope they take the process that produced these amazing products and sprinkle it on the rest of the product line

I was pointing out to someone yesterday about how Ford has transformed their brand into one young people actually like. This was precipitated by a female friend of mine who is 26 who just bought a Ford Edge.

any time, David. :) Though I had F at $1, I sold the last of it in the 12-13 range. I don't regret it -- made a ton of money on it -- but I also still think F is a great buy in the teens.
