Tablet explosion!

The original initiated price of this coverage was $13.34. Over the time span of this coverage, the underlying security paid 7 dividends, comprising 4.0% dividend income.

I think that the next few years are going to bring lots of tablets to the market, and you will start seeing people with multiple ones....one that they take with them on the Trains, Planes and Automobiles, and the one that they leave in the living room to act as their universal remote, and IMDB lookup device while they are watching TV.

Just a few minutes ago, a colleague and I went to Best Buy to see if thy would honor the price of $99 for the HTC Flyer that they accidentally put up on the web....and they needed something like 5 signs saying it was an accident because there were so many people comining in.

And well, you know that the Amazon Fire is going to be a hit.

So what does this mean for Corning? Gorilla Glass, and lots of it!

I've been wrong, and shocked at the slow decline in GLW's stock price, but I think that this is a long term hold.

Barron's gives a plug for Corning (GLW) over the weekend, noting the LCD glassmaker trades for little more than book value, and insiders are buying shares. It's also declaring Vodafone (VOD) a buy on account of its emerging-markets exposure, high dividend yield (6.7%), and 45% stake in Verizon Wireless (VZ), among other factors. Comment! Apparently I should have gotten out before the new guidance. One interesting thing I did hear today is that LED TVs use two panes of glass as opposed to one - so as the industry starts moving in that direction, it is a more sales for GLW.

Need to read up a bit more on the new guidance before I act on this holding.
