"Job Creation" is good for the resumes of bigwigs in government & the private sector.   Bigwigs in government & the private sector are known for wanting to keep things simple, at least theoretically.  The problem is that they usually go about it the wrong way.  Look at organizational and procedural boondoggles such as Business Process Reengineering in the late 90's and its contemporary cousins, ITIL and Six Sigma.  There are some good ideas in there, but you unleash such a massive animal on the dudes who like to play golf while they kick down actual implementation to self-important middle managers and all hell breaks loose!

Where was I going with this stupid rant?  Oh yeah...Kenexa!  It's almost a homophone for "Eureka!"  They purport to make the serious pain in the ass that is finding and retaining good, qualified job candidates a breeze.  Reading their "Human Capital Management" solutions puts me in mind of all that magical sounding ITIL claptrap about "Continual Service Improvement."  Horsepuckeys!   But it's just the kind of bullshit concept-in-a-box that the aforementioned bigwigs-who-golf-and-kick-shit-down-the-ladder types love and will spend money on.
