Purely speculative pick, driven in part by the announcement that GM will be closing out the Hummer brand after the failed sale to Tengzhong.  It's a symbol of the move toward greater fuel economy.  Hybrids that use lithium-ion batteries are the only real alternative vehicles that haven't been crushed by big oil.  Cell phones also use lithium-ion batteries.  Not news to anyone, but there's no immediate end in sight to the manufacture and purchase of these things.  Getting in on a smaller company with the resources to mine large amounts of lithium seems like it might not be a bad idea.
