It's a gamble baby!
I've been thinking about if it is time to take some of my gains for the day and buy back in when things are cheaper...but we just made a new 52-week high here in Las Vegas Sands, and I'm really liking the space. And apparently so are the gamblers according to earnings this last quarter. While things in Nevada may not be so great, apparently they are pretty good every where else there is a casino!

You know I agree. I am riding $26 August calls. Perception seems to be shifting in terms of LVS, not seeing it as quite so risky anymore.

We just broke the $30/share level. I'll have to check when see when the last time we did that was. 52-week high is 29.50.

September-October 08 the stock came crashing down through the 40s, 30s, 20s and ended October 08 at 14 bucks.

Just below $30/share I sold the $32 PUTS. making a little bit of money for me with 3 days to expire. (Well, I guess technically 4). Thought is that I'll have to close out this position, but would love for it to expire worthless!

Been trading the options quite a bit over the last 2 days. Little swings of .25-.40, but enough to make a decent profit.

I may no longer be placing a giant stack of my chips on Las Vegas Sands....not because I don't believe in them, the urge of the gambler to give away their money, or that they don't have a lot of recovery to do in their stock price.

But because, Las Vegas Sand may be no more!

I am inclined to let my existing LVS coverage ride, since I have all of October. I just noticed your links about possible name change, I hope they don't change it, I like the way the name harkens back to the classic Vegas era.
