Let it Ride....
Okay....LVS is not only moving up from the base it has made, so I have to cover it again...and I bought in real life as well (I got stopped out on some shares the other day...I bought in some shares and some options). I'll add to this "blog" later, but you can see my previous write-ups on LVS (and everyone else's) to see why I like this stock.

So I don't think that I can update the actual blog entry...but here is what I would add:

So I got stopped out on some of my shares of LVS (about 25% of my position) and I've been thinking if that was a good thing or not. It was safe since I was very overweight in this stock. But as I did some research, I saw that as other stocks were rallying big in the last week or so, this stock was working more towards creating a good base in the 32+ range.

Also, when you look at the 2 and 5 year charts, you see that we are just hitting some resistance levels that LVS made on its big move down. That put together with a new analyst coverage calling for LVS at 40 makes me thing that there is a chance for a real big move up in this stock.

Now, I fee that I need to add the caveat here that the balance sheet on this company isn't exactly pretty - and they are taking some risking moves here that may pay off big, or may be the death of this company.

I think I need to add new stop/limit orders in here and be careful, but I think that we could have formed a new solid base here too somewhere at the 31.50ish level.

My stop/limits will be below that level.

Searching LVS on StockTwits was interesting today. Everyone seems to think similarly that a good base was made, and that LVS is headed up.

Yeah I think it can very easily dip back to 31.50 but I would be surprised to see it below 30, unless the whole market dives and we get another wave of 'global double-dip recession' or what-not.

Doing very well today. I just have to be careful and not get too greedy. Need to consider upping stops, and thinking about what I want to do with the options.

LVS at a 2 year high! But I don't know if the market knows where it wants to go in general - and "European Terrorist Event" talks in the media could really put the market in a precarious state.

Got an order imbalance alert on the sell side - and I see a weird Exchange on Level 2 quotes for LVS. Staying in, but keeping an eye on it.

Looking for the break over 40 to decide if I try and ride this to 60...looking at the 5 year chart for this one is interesting.

Then again, not sure how much chart technicals are going to come into play given the time horizon, and that most options that were purchased over 2 years ago have expired or changed hands since then....

Wonder what the technicians would say about this one.

Las Vegas Sands LVS Reports Q3 Adj-EPS of 34c, sales $1.91B - so far the street likes the numbers and its up $2.50 after hours. We'll see where it is at 9:30 tomorrow when I can cash out of my calls.
