We Got the Fever Five

Actually, I think that this stock is going to move right past 55, and try to make an assult on that 59 mark that seems to form some strong resistance for it. And given that we've moved so far I'm giving this one some time - but earnings were great. And analysts are starting to recommend the stock....

Even the ones that hated this when I opened my first position around 11.

I think your chances at making money on this are much better then on the craps table. I think if we hit this number though, it's time to go celebrate Vegas style!

Just walked by the TV here at work that has CNBC playing, and I see that tonight's Options Action is doing a long take on LVS - and it seems that most of them are going short with the "Too Far, Too Fast" mentality. I may have to watch that this weekend (podcast) and based on what I hear, I may change this.

I do already need to tighten up my stops on the stock shares given the new higher price - and decide a strategy for my options.

Stop raised to 47.98. Don't want to ride this down if it decides to fill the gap.

My trailing stop triggered in the mid 50s, and was happy to take some profits. Most of my positions have been moved to MAR 2011 44 and 52.5 Calls.

Added a few options as we broke 40 today. Not as excited about LVS at the moment as I once was, but I have little doubt that this stock will shoot to the stars one day...or Adelson will die trying to get it there.

As for the "bribery" charges, everyone knows that's standard business practices in that part of Asia, and anyone who "doesn't" is keeping their eyes closed on purpose.

Sure there will be a fine, but hopefully at the end of the day, LVS will come out ahead.

I've been wondering what, if any, effect they may feel from what is going on in Japans. Any thoughts?

At first glance it would seem that what is moving LVS today is the vote in Nevada to possibly legalize online gambling.

Picked up Some LVS May 47 Weekly options because they were cheaper, and figured that today's earnings is what is going to move the stock or not. Just a few, and just a gamble here.

Hoping that LVS pulled back with the market, and not really in anticipation of bad numbers, and that I get a quick pop here.

Feels more like being at the table in Vegas then educated investing though, so wish me luck!

At one point I almost bought puts. At another point I almost bought calls. So clearly I don't know what I'm doing at this point...
