I've been itching to cover a firearm stock for quite some time now...in fact, I pestered the PT brass about covering SWHC a few months back during the last season of The Walking Dead when it occurred to me that our already gun-obsessed country was getting a great big 'ol hypodermic full of death-obsession pumped into its collective brain with the growing popularity of all things zombie...the aforementioned show, other books, shows, and movies related to zombies...and culminating recently in the strange case of the life-imitating-dark-art face-chewer down in Florida.

Throw in  the recent tragedy in Aurora, Colorado,  subscribers to the various doomsayers who predict a coming battle over resources, and  building tensions among those who buy into the more dire interpretations of the Mayan prophecy and you've got a formula for increased firearm sales -- not just among the converted.  I'm learning of more and more "everyman" types who have procured a gun "just in case."

I've missed the boat on some huge gains on this stock, but I figure it still has quite a way to go before people trade in their death fetishes for the next generation of My Little Pony ephemera, or until those who have built up the stock price through their purchases are better served by the actual items manufactured by this company than they are by their shares in it.
