Was reading a book yesterday about programming with PhoneGap for Mobile devices.  My interest is in Android, but the O'Reilly book I got about it keeps talking about how you can work with Blackberry but you have to do this and that workaround because Blackberry doesn't support this or that feature of PhoneGap.

The idea of PhoneGap is to program device-agnostically in html5 and Javascript - meaning Android or iOS, and porting your app between the two will be easy.

Well, it occurred to me as this book is going out of its way to try to help people who would program for RIMM's Blackberry platform, what kind of idiot would do that?

Who would waste the time to program for a dying platform that nobody cares about?  So, in short, plenty of downside left for this stock with a market cap of over $5B.  To me, it's not an acquisition target until it's below $2B.
