Standard Parking Corporation is part of a giant army of scuzzbuckets who are out to take your money for the "privilege" of parking your car where you work, where you live, where you eat, where you go to seek out entertainment.  This is an industry that has grown steadily more insidious since I first started driving and it has gotten completely out of control.

I *hate* paying for parking.  It is one of my least favorite things in the world.  Fortunately for me, I've got just the right mixture of perseverance, stubbornness, patience, balls, and good old fashioned parking karma that I rarely have to dole out much dough to curb my ride.

Most folks I know won't go to the same lengths I will to stymie these money-grubbing bums, and I often see lots with their logo packed to the brim.  Office buildings, retail centers, airports, medical centers, universities, municipal facilities, entertainment facilities, residential buildings, hotels...they're everywhere.  In addition to the spaces, they also provide "parking management experts" -- i.e., the people who take your money, provide you with ground transportation, and perform security and maintenance functions.  The whole shebang!

It's a giant money vacuum.  Buy some shares and get yourself a refund!
