Tibco Software seems to be the enterprise choice for connecting the silos these days.  And while I'm not a big fan of SOAP, and much perfer REST APIs, I can see why bigger organizations choose SOAP and the SOA plan in order to interconnect their disparate systems.  In fact I think my target here is really conservative.

What made me choose to invest now?  Well, it looks like TIBX could break to the upside, and after hearing the CEO speak on Friday on Mad Money, I realize that he gets it.  He made the claim that while their competitors are claiming to innovate, what they really are doing is building a cow path.

You know the concept....animals walk somewhere and make a path...so you eventually pour gravel on it...more animals walk that way, and you throw down some asphalt.  You morph into the road....but the process wasn't slow, or innovative.  And everyone else can do the same thing too.  It works, but it isn't the brilliance that will allow you change the world.  Hopefully TIBX is trying to change the world.
