Yeah, horrible tagline - but I think that UPS is edging out FedEx this year.  I meant to invest in the shippers just after Halloween, but the market kept money tied up elsewhere.

The truth fo the matter is that if the commodity was truly liquid, I'd recomment putting all your money in the Forever Stamp....cause just think of what the rate of return will be on those things in just a short few years!

But between the two biggest private shippers, I've generally been a FedEx fan, but this year I'm seeing UPS around a lot more...their deliveries have been on time..most Amazon packages I have gotten have come from them...and they are hiring...more then their "competitor:

UPS reported today it plans to hire approximately 55,000 seasonal workers this holiday season. FedEx Corp. announced last month it will hire 20,000 seasonal workers.

UPS expects to deliver 120 million packages around the world in the last week before Christmas, up more than 6 percent from the same period last year. FedEx expects its worldwide operations to handle more than 260 million shipments in the month between Thanksgiving and Christmas, up 12 percent from last year."

So I don't think I've missed all the move here, so I'm opening p a coverage for Brown.
