Retailer recovery

Zumies I believe is one of the most innovative retailers out there, and they know how to adaprt to a changing environment. They made the hard choice of closing down their original distribution center to cut down transportation costs, and I think this is the first step of finishing their national rollout of stores. And given their impressive same store sales numbers over many years, I think they will be a leader in their niche market once again.

The first time I purchased this stock I rode it from 18 to 40, and I think that 40 will be seen again sometime in the next few years.

Their same store sales increases have been pretty phenomenal since I started trading them over 6 years ago now. The first year it was over 20%. The thing is they are very much a West coast company and still have a lot of room to expand. They just opened up a store in Tysons and I finally stepped in the store for the first time just over a month ago.

Skate, Ski, Board type of shop, but they have a different marketing approach. They've gone out and sponsored concerts, skateboarding contests, and the like and stayed close to their consumer and what they like to do.

During the crash I picked up lots of shares sub $10.
